Happy Quilting Day! (stash report week 12)

Yesterday was the official day, we'll just extend it.  Just like The Quilt Show is celebrating all weekend by letting us watch the first 9 seasons for free!

There's a lot going on.  Spring has really sprung and I have all kinds of photos that I was going to show you, but, it is also our guild quilt show this weekend and I am tired.  I mean T-A-R-D!!  I was on my feet all day yesterday!  And I go back for more today.

So, here's the report, sort of short and sweet.  Connecting Threads is also celebrating National Quilting Day - all month long.  All the online sales have been so hard to resist that I finally cracked and hit the "submit order" button.  All the fabric was less than $5/yd - most of it was $2.48 yd!

5 yards of peridot mirage for the back of DS's Dresden plate quilt.

2.5 yds of yellows for the T block quilt.  For blocks and for borders and/or binding.

Two 1/2 yd cuts "just because."

These thread sets were 40% off.  Glad thread doesn't count!

So, my new additions say that I need to finish more projects to get back into  positive numbers.

  1. I'd never looked at the Connecting Threads site before. They have some great prices, even for the regular priced stuff. I could be in trouble.....

  2. Nope, not gonna look!! No sale links! (Love the green) What's in my garden? Last year's garden! Today we clean it off. Did the flower beds yesterday--see some flowers starting--but lots of weeds. Mostly weeds.

  3. That thread looks familiar. I bought the pastels set. I also spent 3 days at our local guild quilt show and know EXACTLY what you mean by TARD! We have a big show every other year (even years) and usually have 1,500 + in attendance. This year we had over 450 quilts! My feet know all the walking and standing all too well.

  5. Ooooh, all those goodies! And your numbers will be in the black in a jiff - you're only a teeny bit away from it. Congrats!
